Painted conservatories with style and character

Imagine looking forward to the day you start enjoying your new conservatory. It’ll be worth waiting for our factory craftsmen to realise your vision before our installers painstakingly construct and finish the structure.

We know our craft – we’ve been designing, manufacturing and installing timber conservatories since the 1970s. That’s why we’ve a vast portfolio of stained and painted wooden conservatories, garden rooms and orangeries. Many were fabricated from naturally-durable timber such as Siberian larch – or made with pressure-treated and laminated redwood and Accoya® frames and sub-frames.

Over the years we’ve designed, manufactured and installed hundreds of painted conservatories for discerning property owners in Lincolnshire and across Britain.

In practice, despite different names, painted conservatories and orangeries are quite similar timber structures. The following design differences typically distinguish the two:

• Conservatories always have a fully-glazed roof to allow maximum heat and light into the room below. There may be eaves, gables, turrets and even coloured glass, but not ‘orangery style’ lantern-roofs.

• Glazing, soffits, fascias and eaves have much less ornate detailing.

• To allow the most light into conservatories, slightly thinner-section timber is used for the frame (often built on a low brickwork base).

The art and craft behind your new painted conservatory

Entrust us with your painted conservatory and count on our experience manufacturing and installing the bespoke joinery and fittings. As design and manufacturing progress, we’ll manage everything until final handover when years of enjoyment begin.
Your project will be thoughtfully and expertly managed to minimise inconvenience for you. As with all our timber structures, you’re welcome to visit to view the design and manufacturing progress. Maybe you want some conservatory interior design ideas, or you’re just intrigued by large scale joinery. Whatever your interests, we always listen carefully before crafting beautiful traditional joinery. Then we finish it with high-quality factory-applied paint or seals for years of durability, looks and performance.

We can sometimes help with related builders’ work, but only within a realistic distance of our Lincolnshire base. Of course, we’re always happy to help your building contractors (for instance, with any required drawings), especially where they must build bases and walls while we manufacture the timber structure. Because accurate setting out is so important, we can liaise with your builder by phone or email to help interpret architectural detail and drawings where insufficient detail was provided by an architect.

Of course, although we liaise with customers’ own builders for groundwork and bases, we only use our own installation team to erect your structure.

We can manage the complete installation or liaise with your builder on the groundwork and base before we erect the conservatory.
